Terms of service

Last updated 2026-05-12

The deal

BuyPilot is a sourcing copilot that helps you capture leads on a trade show floor and turn them into supplier records, SKUs, and follow-up emails. By signing in you agree to these terms.

Nature of the information we show you

BuyPilot is research software. The pricing, demand signals, margin estimates, landed-cost calculations, compliance flags, tariff codes, trademark conflicts, supplier verification chips, factory cross-references, and AI-extracted data from your photos, voice notes and quote sheets are gathered from third-party APIs (including but not limited to SerpAPI, Keepa, RapidAPI / Alibaba, USPTO, USITC, OpenAI) and from large-language-model inference over your captures.

This information may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. We surface the facts as we find them; we do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for any particular decision. BuyPilot provides this information for guidance only. It is not legal, tax, regulatory, financial, customs, sourcing, or trade advice, and it does not replace independent professional advice.

You are responsible for verifying any number, flag, or supplier detail before acting on it, including (without limitation) before purchasing product, signing a purchase order, sending payment, contacting a supplier, requesting samples, or relying on a margin, tariff, compliance or trademark assessment for a commercial decision. You are responsible for legal, tax, regulatory and trade compliance in your target markets.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyPilot disclaims all warranties (express, implied or statutory) over the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of any information surfaced through the service.

Acceptance

When you first sign in, and again whenever we materially update these terms, we will ask you to accept them. We log the date, version, IP address and browser of each acceptance as a record that you saw and agreed. You can withdraw your acceptance by signing out and asking us to delete your account; without acceptance the service is not available to you.

Your account

You are responsible for the email address you sign in with and for everything that happens through your account. Sign-in codes are single-use and expire after fifteen minutes. Do not share them. Tell us at support@buypilot.io if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.

What you can do

Use BuyPilot for your own sourcing work and your own team’s sourcing work. Do not upload other people’s confidential documents without permission, do not try to break the rate limits or access another customer’s data, and do not use the service for anything illegal.

Plans and billing

Free trial, Solo, Pro, and Trip Pass plans are described on /billing. Subscription plans renew automatically until you cancel through the Stripe customer portal or, for in-app purchases, through your Apple ID or Google account. Trip Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks the listed quotas for thirty days. Refunds are at our discretion outside of statutory rights in your jurisdiction.

When your plan ends, your account becomes read-only. We keep your data for thirty days so you can resubscribe; after that we delete captures, supplier rows, SKUs, and uploads.

The boring legal bits

BuyPilot is provided as-is. We work to keep it fast and reliable but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Except where local law forbids it, our liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms when the product changes; if we make a material change we will email you at the address on file. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
